There seems to be a rule at my house that goes something like this: if one of the kids has caught a stomach bug, it will first make itself known in the middle of the night while the child is asleep so as to maximize the affected area, including bed, carpet, hardwood, tile, toilet, sink, and pajamas. I’ve lost track of all the early morning cleanup operations. I’m trying to forget this latest one, too.
