That’s it! I’ve had enough! Next year, it’s to the southern hemisphere for the winter solstice. New Zealand, maybe. These dark damp days in Seattle are unfit for humans.

I agree. These dark days have been tough on me this year. I’m heading south next year if I can help it. I actually like rain, clouds and cold weather associated with winter in Seattle — it’s the darkness that is getting my goat this year.

Yeah, I thought you liked it too. I can remember being told that the midwest had too much sunshine! And we have had more sunny days than usual this month — November is the real drag, though, because we know what’s coming. Like a January trip to Hawaii.
