Movable Type vulnerability
Good grief. A vulnerability in all versions of Movable Type has been found. The vulnerability allows malicious users to send email through the application to any number of arbitrary users. Great. Thousands upon thousands of spam relays just waiting to be pounced on.
There is a patch, however, and a whole new version if you feel like upgrading. (I just did.) Go get the new stuff now.
Update: comments have been disabled by my host until they can get a grip on the mail relaying problem. Even though I’m patched, I’m still guilty until proven innocent, and the justice system seems to be taking its time.
